A lovely getaway, quiet, relaxing holiday in scenic surroundings. A cosy log fire to go back to, and most of all fresh clean air.

Very peaceful and rural, close to a lovely country park ideal for walks through the woods and along the river. A pleasant pub serving good food not far away in the village. The cottage is homely and well-equipped with a cosy log fire if needed in the evenings. The back of the cottage overlooks fields and is quite a suntrap,to enjoy the long hours of daylight. Many great places to visit closeby, Berwick and Kelso and great beaches that were not crowded. The cottage was also dog friendly, they enjoyed the holiday too.

What a lovely stay we had at this idyllic cottage. It was wonderful, all our needs were catered for and it was so lovely and peaceful in beautiful surroundings. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly come back.

A very comfortable cottage, lovely views and peaceful. We loved St. Abbs and the Walls at Berwick, and finished our trip at Holy Island.

A comfortable cottage, tranquil and well equipped. Paxton House is well worth a visit and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area.
